Claire has spent years road testing our swim and wetsuits in the water. Together, we’ve turned her feedback and ideas into a surf capsule made for long summer days and tropical trips.
Meet the Astra Rashy. A sporty little number made for endless paddling, salty skin and those dreamy days when you just don't want to get out of the ocean.
With a flattering semi-cropped length, contrast flatlock stitching and clever underarm gussets for extra freedom when paddling, this rashy is all about feeling good and moving freely in the water.
Made from our buttery-soft recycled swim fabric with UV protection, it's designed to keep you comfortable through long surf sessions and sun-soaked adventures.

Made using Carvico VITA, a high-quality sustainable swim fabric crafted with regenerated ECONYL® nylon yarn.

Swim
All of our swim is made from ECONYL®, an Italian made material which turns recovered ocean plastics into a synthetic material suitable for swimwear.
The recycled aspect of this material is advantageous as using recycled materials over raw materials not only helps to reduce waste and pollution in the environment but also means that the production of nylon isn’t reliant upon virgin crude oil and fabrics.
Our ECONYL® swim is also certified with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, meaning that our entire swim collection is free from harmful and toxic chemicals.
Whilst ECONYL® has become a favoured material when it comes to addressing issues of plastic and waste, like most fabrics, it is not perfect. It is a known problem that materials made from recycled plastic shed microfibres or microplastics similar to all synthetic materials when the item is washed.
We suggest purchasing a microfibre washing bag or installing a filter on your washing machine. The Australian government has announced in their 2021 National Plastic Plan that by 2030 all new washing machines will be fitted with this requirement (that's too far away, we suggest acting on it now).

Wetsuits are sized on height and weight rather than body measurements. Our suits are cut in AU sizes and should feel snug without restricting you — a loose suit flushes water.

How to measure
To find the perfect Atmosea fit, simply put on your favourite underwear and measure yourself directly on your body. Take care to wear a really splendid-fitting bra.

- Measure around the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra that fits.
- Under bust
- Measure around your ribcage directly beneath your bust.
- Waist
- Measure around the narrowest point of your waist.
- Hips
- Measure around the fullest part of your hips (seat).
