At Atmosea, community has always been at the heart of what we do.

From the beginning, the brand has been shaped by the surfers, artists, and coastal communities around us. As we grow, we believe it’s important to give back to the places and people connected to our work.

We are grateful to live, work, and surf on Bundjalung Country, and we pay our respects to the traditional custodians of this land and ocean. Their connection to Country and their care for it over thousands of years, continues to guide how we think about responsibility, respect, and stewardship.

Through environmental giving, community support, and creative collaboration, we aim to contribute in ways that feel genuine, thoughtful, and long-term.

1% for the Planet

We are proud members of 1% for the Planet, a global network of businesses committed to supporting environmental solutions.

As part of this commitment, we pledge at least 1% of annual revenue to environmental organisations working to protect and restore the natural world.

For 2026, we have nominated our contribution to The Returning, an Australian initiative focused on regeneration, ecological care, and restoring deeper relationships between people and the land.

As a coastal brand shaped by the ocean and the landscapes around us, this commitment reflects our belief that caring for the environments we depend on is simply part of doing business.

Supporting OceanFolx in Lombok

We manufacture select products in Indonesia, and it’s important to us that we give back to the communities connected to our supply chain.

That’s why we are proud to support OceanFolx.

OceanFolx is a nonprofit organization working in partnership with local Lombok women to build confidence and connection with the ocean through swimming, surfing, and water safety education.

The ocean brings the women behind Atmosea so much joy, freedom, and creativity. Supporting programs that create access to those same experiences for other women feels deeply aligned with what our brand is about.

OceanFolx programs are offered at no cost to participants, and local women are compensated for their time to help offset missed wages, transportation, and childcare costs.

Their work focuses on drowning prevention, leadership development, female empowerment, and environmental stewardship — creating safe, meaningful, and lasting access to the ocean.

We support OceanFolx through an ongoing monthly contribution.

Supporting Artists

Creativity is foundational to Atmosea.

Through our retail space, we host five artist exhibitions each year, offering a dedicated platform for artists to share their work with the community.

We are fortunate to be able to provide this space without the upfront costs that often come with exhibiting in traditional gallery settings. For us, it’s one way of supporting the artists who continue to shape surf culture and creative communities around us.

Alongside exhibitions, we regularly collaborate with artists on limited-edition prints and collections. Artists are paid for their work, and we use our platform to share their creative practice with our wider community.

Supporting Surf Culture & Community

We also contribute to the surf community that continues to inspire us.

This includes supporting women’s surf events, grassroots competitions, and community-led fundraisers that help keep surf culture vibrant and inclusive.

We are proud to be one of the major sponsors of the Single Fin Mingle, a beloved celebration of style, community, and classic surfing.

Alongside this, we contribute to a number of local events, fundraisers, and competitions throughout the year.
