There are days that stay with you forever and our time with the incredible women of OceanFolx in Lombok is one of them.

To witness women being empowered through ocean safety, surfing, and community on the island of Lombok was something truly unforgettable. It was more than just seeing women learn to surf, it was watching confidence grow, courage rise, and connection flourish in the most beautiful way.

At Atmosea, the ocean has always meant so much more than waves. It’s healing. It’s freedom. It’s strength. It’s belonging. And seeing these women encouraged to step into the ocean with confidence and knowledge was one of the most heart-filling experiences we could imagine.

 


OceanFolx is doing deeply meaningful work alongside local Lombok women, creating safer, more meaningful access to the ocean through swimming, surfing, ocean safety, and environmental education.

Their programs are helping women not only build practical life-saving skills, but also confidence, independence, and new possibilities for themselves, their families, and future generations. 
Because we manufacture select products in Indonesia, it feels deeply important to us to give back to the communities connected to our supply chain — and supporting OceanFolx felt incredibly aligned with the heart of Atmosea.
