Frankie Ratford x Atmosea Store
Frankie and I have been friends since 2010 — maybe even earlier. We’ve lived together, grown together, and she’s been one of my really good friends through so many chapters of life. Those friendships where you just know someone’s magic? That’s Frankie.
She’s now working in interior design, after years as a graphic designer and as the woman behind Design Kids. So the moment we started dreaming up our new shop, it was an instant no-brainer. We were like, oh my god, Frankie has to help us with this.
And here we are — a new dream shop, looking bloody good.
We’re a small, family-run brand, and while we’ve been around for ten years, this shop is a new chapter and we have been here in Bruns for 1 year now but needed a bit of a shine. The budget was tight (very tight), but that’s where Frankie truly shines. Magic happened through tip shops, upcycling what we already had, reworking old pieces, and seeing potential where most people wouldn’t.
The result is a space full of colour, playful energy, beautiful lines and arches, and heaps of fun tiling. It feels joyful, creative, and so us.
Frankie has this rare ability to make things happen — to pull a vision together with heart, humour, and pure grit. If you need to get anything done, she’s your girl. And if you’re lucky enough to call her a friend, even better.
We’re so grateful to have built this space with her.
