Em Niwa X Atmosea Artist Collaboration

At Atmosea, we're all about celebrating creativity, individuality, and the ocean's spirit. Our latest collaboration with the talented multimedia artist Em Niwa encapsulates this ethos, bringing together art, fashion, and surf culture in a harmonious blend.

To celebrate the opening of our first retail store, our dear friend Em Niwa painted a mural for our space—a dream girl to watch over us. We love our Em Niwa mural so much (and so did those who visited!) so we wanted to share her magic with all you too! We’ve been working away on a really fun little project with Em and to launch it we hosted Em in store to showcase her latest Body of work ‘Jewel Tone’.

We celebrated the collaboration with a showcase of Em’s artwork on a recent lovely Saturday evening, and what a delightful evening it was. Our store is now bursting with her magical world of paintings and handmade jewels. The evening was a vibrant mix of art, music, and community spirit, reflecting the essence of our partnership with Em.

Working with an artist like Em is an absolute dream come true! This collaboration celebrates Em's brilliant talent and brings our shared love for creativity, community, and the ocean to life. Together, we’ve created a collection that feels like sunshine for your soul. Playful, expressive, and full of heart. We’re so excited to share it with you! A Note from Em on how the collaboration came to be: 

"A friend introduced me to Atmosea years ago—before I even lived near the ocean! I ended up collaborating on a cute T-shirt design a little later, and things just flowed from there. It’s been amazing getting to know the Atmosea family and feeling the joy and connection they bring to everything they do.

Atmosea is colourful and bright; it’s about loving the ocean and living a life full of fun.

At the end of last year, I visited the brand new shop to paint a mural in the back room—a chocolate strawberry dream girl. I wanted her to watch over everyone who comes in, and to represent that kind of loving calm you can feel when you're in the ocean."
